Sights of Rotterdam

Rotterdam offers plenty of things to do for visitors. Admire the stunning skyline and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Euromast Tower. Next to the tower, you’ll find the Pancake Boat, Splash Tours, and The Park. The Erasmus Bridge is another highlight: on its north side you’ll find Spido Harbour Tours, Historic Tram Tours, and a Waterbus stop, while on the south side you’ll discover the Cruise Terminal, Food Hallen, The Rotterdam building, the former Holland-America Line headquarters, and—further along at Maashaven—the museum steamship SS Rotterdam.

Closer to the city centre lies Leuve Harbour (Leuvehaven), home to the Harbour Museum, Maritime Museum, and Port Pavilion, which provide fascinating insights into the Port of Rotterdam. The centre itself is a major shopping area, with the Market Hall as its main attraction. Nearby, you’ll also find the Cube Houses and the Old Harbour, with the historic ten‑story building White House.

Further from the centre is historic Delfshaven, featuring the Pilgrim Fathers Church. Other family-friendly attractions include the Zoo (Diergaarde Blijdorp), Mini World (Rotterdam in miniature), and more. No trip to Rotterdam is complete without visiting one of its many vibrant parks and gardens, such as the Kralingse Plas with its two historic windmills, The Park, and Museum Park.
