Sights of Rotterdam

Lake Kralingen or in Dutch, Kralingse Plas is a nice recreational area in the city Rotterdam. You find there a forest to walk, jog, cycle and a beach to swim. On the lake, it's possible to do some sailing, supppen or rent a canoe. For the kids there's a climbing forest and a children's farm with animals. The area is approximately 250 hectares, with 100 hectares of lake. A walk around the lake is about 5 km (3.1 miles) and along the way you will find several places to eat or drink something. You will also pass two still working snuff and spice windmills that are open every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30.
